…The Beginning Of A Poker Quest…
Today, Simon and I agreed to begin a poker quest. The quest has a few set rules, but basically is as follows:
1. We must start with absolutely no money and progress to 10k GBP.
2. We must not deposit any money, although we can accept free poker bonuses AS LONG as we have already got at least $0.01.
3. The first person to get 10k gets 50% of the loser’s money.
Well, I made a website. The address is http://jamieleanne.my5gb.com/index.html. I’ll probably advertise it at some point. This means that if anybody is interested in following our updates, they’ll be able to do so. There will be links to this blog and a blog that Simon will write.
Well, I decided to start on William Hill. This is because William Hill is tried and tested for me and I feel that I can play smoothly on it without trouble. I also was aware that they run quite a lot of freerolls. So, I have been playing freerolls all night… And I’ve already passed the “freeroll rule”!
Firstly, the proof:
This shows that I begun with exactly 0.00 GBP. The rules state that we both have to start with no money or MPPs in the account. I signed up for a few freerolls.
In one particular game, I was doing really well. I got up to 25k chips fairly fast, and then something awesome happened . As you can see (if you follow the link), I ended up being the only person on my table that wasn’t “sitting out”. So I would make a minimum raise every hand and even though it went very slow (most likely a protection method by William Hill to prevent people from cheating) I got about 5k chips before of the people that was sitting out returned. Of course, it wasn’t always fun and games … When I got good hands, like QQ (which I got twice), it was annoying knowing I could only make a maximum of 300 chips!
But in the end of it all I won , putting me currently in first place with $0.30. It hasn’t been converted to GBP yet, but I’m guessing it will be about 0.15!
